Project Engineer - Utility Scale Solar & BESS

Role Overview

Manage on-site erection, testing, and commissioning of utility-scale solar PV arrays, inverter stations, and battery energy storage skids.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site installation of single-axis tracker systems, string inverters, and HT switchyards (up to 33kV).
• Coordinate with grid authorities and discoms for statutory safety approvals and CEIG clearances.
• Supervise civil piling, module mounting structures, and DC cable trenching contractors.
• Conduct pre-commissioning loop tests, I-V curve tracer checks, and SCADA telemetry sync.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Systems.
• 4+ years of on-site experience executing utility-scale (>50MW) solar projects.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD Electrical, and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of Indian grid codes, CEA safety regulations, and BESS interfaces.
