Marine Operations & Vessel Coordinator
Mumbai / JNPT Port Office Full-Time 3-6 Years
Role Overview
Coordinate offshore support vessel (OSV) charter schedules, quayside loading operations, and offshore supply chain logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with port authorities, customs, and ship captains for vessel berthing, loading, and departure manifests.
- Coordinate heavy lift crane operations, quayside staging, and bunkering of offshore supply vessels.
- Monitor offshore vessel positions, voyage logs, and fuel consumptions.
- Ensure full compliance with IMCA guidelines and DG Shipping regulations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Marine Transportation, Nautical Science, or Logistics.
- 3+ years experience with a shipping agency, offshore operator, or port stevedore.
- Strong familiarity with Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) and JNPT operational protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under high-pressure turnaround schedules.
